In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, PHCC has partnered with HMC and MoPH to introduce a set of virtual healthcare services designed to control the spread of the virus.
Patients requiring urgent consultations can call 16000 connecting them to PHCC’s Community Call Center This center provides 24/7 access for remote telephone and video consultations with a PHCC physician. Through this new service, the physician can offer guidance, diagnose conditions, and even provide prescriptions remotely. prescriptions through this new service.
This service is designed for patients who have "pre-booked" appointments and serves as a substitute for the typical in-person visits with their physician. Its primary goal is to reduce the number of patients physically visiting the health center and instead enable remote access to a range of services, including Family Physician, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Smoking Cessation, Dental, and more.
On March 25th, 2020, PHCC launched a new service at all its health centers called Medication Refill & Home Delivery. If you're a registered patient, you can now receive your prescribed medicines by sending a simple WhatsApp message to your PHCC pharmacy's dedicated phone number. This service is meant to keep you safe by helping you to avoid coming to the health center in person to reduce the risk of spreading the Coronavirus.
Currently, Rawdat Al Khail health center is the only center at PHCC designated to be a Test & Hold facility for all suspect cases of Covid-19. PHCC also made the Covid-19 test available at all other health centers within PHCC for suspect cases.
