PHCC announced that Rawdat Al Khail Health Center Health Center will return to normal operations starting April 3rd, 2023 (with limited separate space for Covid-19 patients) following it being dedicated as a COVID Health Center for the past three years. 

The health center has been delivering essential COVID services throughout the pandemic, ensuring the safety of patients and staff as a priority.

With vaccination rates increasing and infection rates decreasing, the health centre will now resume all normal services, including family medicine appointments, routine check-ups, screenings, dental care, and wellness services. Whilst face-to-face visits will be fully restored, the centre will offer virtual consultations to those patients who prefer this type of appointment.

"We are pleased to be able to welcome our patients back to the health centre for all their healthcare needs," said Dr Samya Abdulla, Executive Director of Operations "The pandemic challenged us in many ways, but we adapted and continue to prioritize the health and safety of our patients and staff, whilst ensuring that we are delivering the highest quality in primary care services."

Throughout its services as a COVID health centre, Rawdat Al Khail implemented several measures to ensure the health and safety of patients and staff, including increased cleaning protocols, mandatory mask-wearing, social distancing measures and dedicated isolation rooms.

"We are proud of the resilience and dedication of our staff, who have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic to provide essential services to our community," said Dr Abdulla, "As we return the health centre to its normal operations, we remain committed to providing safe, accessible, and compassionate care to all our patients."
