General Pediatric Medicine focuses on preventing, diagnosing, and treating medical conditions that affect infants, children, and adolescents. Pediatricians diagnose and address health problems, diseases, and disorders related to different stages of growth and development through close collaboration with both the patient and their family.

The PHCC General Pediatric Service comprises of:
Pediatric health supervision and guidance.
Monitoring physical and psychosocial growth and development.
Conducting age-appropriate screening.
Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic disorders.
Make onward referrals for more complex conditions.
Promote health
Target Group
Patients under the age of 18.
Type of Access
General Pediatric Service is available at all PHCC health centers. This service can be accessed by obtaining a referral from a Family physician.
